I am John McCarthy - a husband, father and director of business development and SEO residing in Upland, California. Learn about me. This site was created because people keep asking me why I don't have a site - since I often build sites for others. So.... now I have a website.

The truth is I was planning to develop my own site back in 1998. At that time I researched about found that McCarthy.com and JohnMcCarthy.com were both available. Then I forgot about it and others took advantage of my forgetfulness.

McCarthy Building Company Today McCarthy.com is now owned by the well-reknowned building company - no relation. JohnMcCarthy.com is owned by a squatter that wants to sell the domain name for $2k. $2k is too much even if you can make a few coins leveraging misdirected searches for the actress Jenny McCarthy - also no relation. I guess he doesn't know it is worth that JohnMcCarthy.com is not worth $2k - at least to me.

It may be worth $2k to other John McCarthy's such as the computer scientist at Stanford, the mixed martial arts referee Big John McCarthy, John McCarthy professor of linguistics at UMass, a mathematician, a comedian, a photographer, a U.S. Army Special Forces Captain and host of others.
